Clean Ink-splattering

A brief visit to enter my card in to the appropriate challenges, I'm trying to keep up with them all but something might have to give this week!  I really rather like this one.  I was thinking about ink splattering for an interesting one layer background but couldn't work out how not to get it everywhere so I improvised.....I dabbed a purple ink pad on a cellophane bag and dabbed it on to the card with my hand inside the bag.  It sorta looks like ink splats, don't you think?  Then I stencilled over it with my aqua glitter paste and stamped my sentiment.  So simple but it appeals to me immensely

Inspired by the following challenges:

Craft for the Craic - Something Glittery
One layer Simplicity - Thank you or Gratitude

Thanks so much for popping by, I will be around to visit as soon as I possibly can.

Oooh, I love this arty look - great colours, too. Huge thanks from me and the BW for your lovely comment. When I told him about it he just said "cool" - you will know from experience that this is the highest accolade you can get from a teenager! xxx

You are joking! Was this beauty done with a plastic bag? Abi, you are definitely a genius! Good luck on Saturday and I wish you well with the weather too. My Christmas one on Saturday was dire! There was no one visiting at all, the weather was terrible so I do not blame them. Good luck! Judy x

i love grunge... or mess. even with my hair. the more "bed-head" it is, the better i like it, which is why i keep it short. i rarely run a comb thru it.

snow won't last long as the temps should be 60 by thursday. geeze louize!

anyway, always delighted when you stop by. enjoy your holiday!

hugs :)

Brilliant idea Abi! Beats cleaning ink splats off the wall and the result is gorgeous! Love the colour combo too!
